Leahy’s Fuels Is Proud to Support Our Community
We support a wide range of organizations
Leahy’s Fuels sets itself apart from other fuel and equipment companies in Western Connecticut through our dedicated approach to our customers and the communities we serve.
Leahy’s Fuels is a family-owned and operated business that has been an integral part of the community since 1917.
Our roots are deep in this community. Our founder, John W. Leahy, was the majority stockholder and general manager of the Great Danbury Fair, the oldest operating fair in the United States until its end, in 1981.
John Leahy oversaw the growth and development of the fair, adding and updating buildings and the midway; putting in hard-surface driveways, new fencing and lighting; and expanding the agricultural competitions to individuals and families as well as professional farmers. Activities, such as petting zoos, concerts, oxen draws, car racing and more, made the fair an event all generations could enjoy.
Our commitment to our customers goes beyond mere account numbers in a database. We value you as our neighbors, and we take pride in being an active member of the communities we serve. These communities are not just ZIP Codes, but vibrant places where the people we deeply care about live, work and play.
We believe in fostering strong connections and building lasting relationships with our valued customers, ensuring that we are not just a business but a trusted partner in keeping your home comfortable.
Leahy’s Fuels and its employees are deeply dedicated to caring for our neighbors and communities. That’s why we actively support a diverse range of service organizations in Fairfield, Litchfield, Dutchess, Westchester, and Putnam Counties.
Leahy’s Fuels is proud to support our neighbors both in service to our community as well as by taking care of our customers. Contact us today to learn more about our fuel and equipment services.
